CCS International Affairs oversees the policy formulation and implementation of CCS' international strategies including engagement in regional and international fora.
As part of the ASEAN community, CCS represents Singapore in establishing and working closely with the other ASEAN members on establishing and developing sound competition policies. As economies in Asia have become more integrated regionally, with intra-regional trade and investment increasing, an effective competition law and policy is necessary to ensure a level playing field and promote fair competition.
Our focus is on:
a) representing CCS in regional and international fora;
b) developing CCS’ knowledge and network of the international competition community;
c) identifying international trends and policy implications relevant to CCS; and
d) supporting CCS investigations.
